Can you describe what you want it to look like?

You could, you know, PRETEND?

Hello daryl, since Arcane Mapper doesn't have Virtual Tabletop support yet - currently its only useful for generating maps (images, pdf, etc.), this kind of feature doesn't make sense yet. Thanks for the suggestion though. One feature that will be added is the ability to add notes to your maps, so maybe that can be useful for marking special walls/doors instead.

actually i think you could find a simple solution to this. Sure it may be an image but there is a simple solution that i have used a few times. I have 2 versions of the map. One i openly show players of the dungeon area. The second is a GM only version which has symbols like these on them that tell me where things are. I also sometimes try to bring them somehow back in at times through a side quest to give them oppurtunity to find things they may have missed later in game if they happen to be near again.

What about this for a secret door/room The two rooms are separated like this.... If we were to connect them, they would then look like this... I used photoshop to make the next image, but this would be the ideal way of having a secret door so that the rooms are still connected (I think).. If you need better images, let me know, but this might be the easier solution for ArcaneMapper to apply.

I understand what you mean. So you basically want a way to tell a wall "you're connected but pretend like there is a wall here anyway" and generate the wall if this is enabled. Supporting the opposite effect, being able to remove walls you don't want as well would also be useful. So this sounds like a reasonable, multi-use feature. This kind of thing will also help when working towards supporting exterior environments as well - consider it on the list.
