Tutorials?

Are there any tutes out there for AM? I must be dumber than a box of hammers, because I can't find any assets (crates, furniture, lights, etc). I click on the different tabs on the right (Rooms, Layers, etc) and they are all empty. The only thing I've been able to do is create floors and walls.
